Menstruation in girls comes with puberty and in one of its major stages which signals the arrival of age. It is something very important part of a woman’s life cycle that help in keeping her healthy. Reducing weight can bring back the hormonal levels in the body back to normal. There are many medications available in the market that can bring back the body on normal hormonal levels. These drugs block the androgens by attacking the organs producing them or bind to these androgens to remove them out of the body. Treatments for polycystic ovary syndrome are based on the patient’s physical features and the degree of menstrual irregularities. A doctor is necessary to treat any form of menstrual irregularities. Sometimes a menstrual irregularity may turn out to be pregnancy. A good gynecologist needs to be consulted before taking any step.

Instead, visit your doctor regularly, take your medications as scheduled, and focus on taking good care of yourself and maintaining your sexual and reproductive health.

Left untreated, most STDs can have major consequences including blindness, brain disease, and even death.
