Dealing with Impotence
For a couple there are few things more frustrating than problems in the bedroom. Money issues have a fix. Health issues are often beyond your control. Problems with family or friends are made forgivable by talking or whatever else needs to be done. But sexual problems are often the most difficult problems to overcome. They raise lots of feelings of guilt or embarrassment. No problem in the bedroom is more difficult than impotence for a man.
It’s a tough thing to admit as a man when you have trouble becoming sexually aroused. There is shame and embarrassment but that doesn’t mean it is the end of the world. There are some easy ways to navigate through the situation and hopefully find a cure for a temporary problem.
The first thing to do is know that it really is something that happens to millions of men all over the world. Do not get panicked or worried or nervous. Just know that it is something that you will work to correct. It’s important that you explain this to your partner. She should know that this has nothing to do with her own sex appeal. This is strictly a medical problem and has nothing to do with the passion between you two.
The next thing you want to do is determine if you have the warning signs for impotence. If you are overweight or you don’t have a balanced diet or exercise then there is more than enough reason to believe that you might be the cause of some of this problem.
The good news is that you are also in a very treatable place. The most important thing you can do is to start an exercise program of 60 minutes of exercise 3 times a week and begin altering your diet by cutting out simple things like fast food and things high in fat and high in sugar.
If you feel the problem is more severe than you can see a doctor to find out if prescription medication is right for you. No matter what, don’t be discouraged, it’s a fixable problem.
